No. 13 Ranked Breakaway Roper Kendal Pierson Talks All Things Bubble

Kendal Pierson is zeroing in during the final few weeks of the regular season.

Kendal Pierson is looking to make her second National Finals Breakaway Roping but the rising star is sitting right on the bubble.

Currently ranked No. 13 in the World, Pierson’s schedule is full after placing in Montana, Idaho and Canada as she continues to add to her earnings. She is traveling with World Champion Shelby Boisjoli-Meged as well as Bradi Good, a trio that all made the Finals last season and decided to keep it going.

As for her equine partner, Smoke, the duo is going on a decade of rodeoing together and winning with no plans of slowing down.

“I have kind of an idea of where I am but I don’t check every single day, I’ll kind of go week by week because I know that if I go do my job, I’ll let the numbers work themselves out. I just have to go rope,” Pierson said.

Pierson focuses on being present, in the moment and taking it calf by calf. The Alberta cowgirl is dialed in as we continue the regular season with plenty of money left to be won and move her away from the bubble.
