Cutting Horse trainer and NCHA Hall of Fame Rider, Paul Hansma has qualified for the semi-finals at the 2022 NCHA Kit Kat Sugar Super Stakes, with his horse Enta Sannman.
Paul emphasizes how important it is to make sure his horse is shown to the best of his ability, “My job is to pilot the horse so that he can do his job, and that’s to show his talent”.
Not only are the horse’s abilities important, but also the four helpers that each have specific jobs to do in those short two and a half minutes. “Its like a little team”, Paul says as he describes the individual positions these helpers have.
Paul hopes to continue the hard work he and his horse have put in and make it to the finals!
