PBR No. 1 Daylon Swearingen Discusses Gameplan Heading Into World Finals

Daylon Swearingen enters the PBR World Finals No. 1 in the world and when asked what his biggest challenge will be for the next 10 days in Fort Worth, he said he was only focused on himself.

“I think it’s (going to come down to) just me being consistent and not worry about things,” he said.

Behind him in the World Standings is a trio of talented, veteran Brazilian bull riders. In second is $3 million man Joao Ricardo Vieira followed by 2018 World Champion Kaique Pacheco and reigning World Champion Jost Vitor Leme.

“I watch ‘em all, I’ve grown up watching Joao and Jose,” he said. “But I am not going to worry about them, my first opponent is going to be the bull. At the end of the day, I am competing against the bull.”
