Pendleton Round-Up: Friday Matinee Daysheet, Performance 3

It is the final performance before the Short Go in Pendelton, Oregon.

Pendleton 2024

The third and final performance of the Long Go in Pendleton will include a barrel racer who has been gunning for a Pendleton Title and a bareback riding fighting for his spot in the Top 15.

BAREBACK RIDING

Cole Reiner is fighting hard for his place in the Top 15 and a rematch with Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics’ Drego is up next on his road to Las Vegas. The two were 82.5 points at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo earlier this year.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

Rookie Zac Dallas is on the bubble as he sits No. 13 in the World Standings but a matchup with Calgary Stampede’s Sergeant Whitney could inch him higher in the standings. The veteran bucking horse has been part of an 85 with Sage Newman and an 86 with Talon Elshere.

A 2.4 still leads but more than three breakaway ropers moved the leaderboard in Performane 2. Today’s cowgirls will have to be faster than a 3.1 to get into the Top 12 to come back on Championship Saturday.

BULL RIDING

With only eight spots filled for the Short Go, a qualified ride might be enough to cinch these bull riders their spot. TJ Gray will go head-to-head with Four Star Rodeo’s Uptown, a veteran bucking bull that Jackson Ward most recently made a qualified ride on to the tune of 80.5 points.
