A long season that ends in Las Vegas is only supported by the animal athletes that help cowboys and cowgirls get there. The American Quarter Horse Association alongside the PRCA and WPRA makes sure that these equine partners get their time in the spotlight when the dust settles.
Patrick and Christi Smith’s Turbo is once again the Heel Horse of the Year and the only name returning to this list for this season.
The remaing eight horses are first time winners of this title.
