PRCA Announces NFR Extension with Las Vegas Events

The NFR will stay in Vegas through at least 2035

The National Finals Rodeo will be calling Las Vegas home for at least the next 12 years after the PRCA announced a lucrative extension Monday.

Las Vegas Events and the PRCA announced the financial details of the agreement, which keeps the NFR in Las Vegas through 2035. Over the course of the contract, the total payment to the contestants and stock contractors will be over $264,000,000.

Las Vegas announced a guarantee of an additional $1.3 million in contestant purse and stock contractor compensation in 2024 and 2025, as a signing bonus to the PRCA.

The 2024 NFR will have over $12 million in price money while stock contractors will receive over $3.75 million.

In 2025 the richest rodeo gets richer, with total payments of $17.5 million, including over $13.5 million to contestants and over $4 million to stock contractors.

Each year of the contract will see the contestant purse and stock contractor compensation increase by a total of $1 million. By the end of the contract, the total payout will be more than $27.5 million.
