In the last few weeks, Stetson Wright has overtaken Ky Hamilton as PRCA’s top-ranked bull rider and most of the stats continue to reflect that.
The reigning World Champion leads the PRCA in Qualified Rides, Average Score and 90+ Point Rides (by a healthy margin). This has allowed to him $218,000 this season and open up a lead of $35,000 with 60 days left in the regular season.
Other noteworthy performers since the beginning of 100 Rodeos in 100 Days include World No. 6 Tristen Hutchings and World No. 9 Creek Young.
Hutchings has ridden 14 bulls over the last five weeks and has also bumped his Average Score up by three tenths of a point. Young, on the other hand, has added six rides of 85+ since June 20 and also raised his riding percentage from 48 to 51 percent. Only five bull riders are riding more than half of their bulls this year.
