Dalton Massey leads the rest of the field in the steer wrestling by around $50,000, but upon review of the stats, the rest of the Top 5 is much closer than they appear, especially World No. 3 Tyler Waguespack.
The winner of the last two Gold Buckles ranks in first in Total Qualified Times, Average Score, 4.2 Second or Faster Runs and Go-Round Wins. If you knock down more steers than anyone else faster than anyone else for more day money, you’re going to be tough to beat. But we already knew that about Tyler Waguespack.
