PRCA Steer Wrestling World Standings Update, March 25: Houston Champion Tucker Allen is the New No. 1

The Top 15 steer wrestlers in the World are hustling for a head start.

As the Texas Swing carries on and the highest paying rodeo of the PRCA season is complete, the PRCA World Standings continue to shuffle.

While Tucker Allen’s success as him on top, the likes of Holden Myers and Brandon Harrison hold tight to their rank.

No. 1 Tucker Allen, $94,467

Allen’s momentum from the California Circuit Finals in December has stuck around for the Texas Swing. He locked in over $8,000 at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo before he snuck into the RodeoHouston Championship Shoot Out to win it all. He leads the World Standings by $52,000.

No. 2 Holden Myers, $42,869

Myers found the pay window at placed like Dayton, Texas and Kissimmee, Florida but it was a second-place finish at RodeoHouston that launched him to No. 2 in the World. The $30,000 has him sitting almost $10,000 ahead of the No. 3 cowboy.

No. 3 Jesse Brown, $35,422

Brown’s Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo win and the $20,000 that came with it have set him up for a comfortable home inside the Top 5 through the Texas Swing. He is not letting off the gas though as he cashed in at La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros in the Finals and the Average.

No. 4 Will Lummus, $30,385

With a solid circuit finals to start him off, Lummus has capitalized on the Texas Swing like the veteran he is. He pulled checks in Fort Worth before finishing second in San Antonio. He has since added $3,000 from a win in Florida as well.

No. 5 Chance Howard, $29,615

Consistency in the Texas Swing has paid off for Howard. He has been steady and placing in almost every Go-Round including three Go-Round wins. His most recent success came after a 3.7-second run at the Goliad County Fair and PRCA Rodeo in Texas.

No. 6 Brandon Harrison, $29,348

Harrison is a veteran of the sport and big success is coming his way as he has loaded up brand new horsepower to hit the road. The San Antonio win was all his thanks to a time of 4.3 seconds and he followed it up placing in the the Go-Rounds of his RodeoHouston Super Series.

No. 7 Justin Shaffer, $29,256

Shaffer’s consistency in all three legs of the Texas Swing so far has insured his place inside the Top 10. A 4.9 and second-place finish at Matagorda County Fair and Rodeo added another $1,600 to his name.

No. 8 Cody Devers, $28,800

Solid runs in Fort Worth and San Antonio added fuel to Devers’ fire as he was just short of the wins however, his luck at Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Rodeo landed him in the Winner’s Circle. The $3,700 bumped him inside the Top 10.

No. 9 Dalton Massey, $28,124

Massey’s third-place pay day at RodeoHouston is just what he needed to jump back towards the top. The last two years have had Massey at No. 1 through out the Texas Swing but 2025 has brought a change of pace.

No. 10 Tyler Waguespack, $27,205

The veteran bull dogger is slowly heating up this season. Waguespack’s success in San Antonio added $11,400 to his name and he kept a foot on the gas in Houston to bring in another $10,000.

No. 11 Stetson Jorgensen, $27,102

With horsepower like Mable, Jorgensen will be inside the Top 10 in no time. A second-place finish at Dixie National Rodeo and a win at La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros has him on his way there.

No. 12 Levi Rudd, $26,542

Rudd’ successful fall carried him into the Texas Swing where he has been sure to collect. A Go-Round win in Fort Worth and placing in Houston is sweet when added to his pay days from a swing to Florida that totaled almost $4,000.

No. 13 Kyle Irwin, $26,177

Irwin cashed in on multiple Go-Rounds at RodeoHouston but it was at the 97th Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship where we saw his fastest run yet of 2025 when he picked up a win at 3.8 seconds.

No. 14 JD Struxness, $25,872

Struxness made sure to zero in on RodeoHouston and the Minnesota cowboy left with over $6,000 in his pocket. He followed it up by placing at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Rodeo.

No. 15 Riley Duvall, $25,857

Duvall’s most recent success came in Mercedes, Texas to the tune of 3.8 seconds and $2,600 but before that, he cashed in in Florida, Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
