With The Cowboy Channel Jr. National Finals Rodeo just weeks away, Steve Kenyon caught up with Anthony Bartkowski, Director of Athlete Development and Welfare for the PRCA to discuss important information for parents and competitors.
The Jr. NFR will make its debut in Texas in conjunction with RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN Rodeo, February 28-29 & March 5-7, at Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, and AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas.
Bartkowski first noted an important rule that athletes’ parents need to be aware of.
”Everybody that we’ve invited and have exempted into The Cowboy Channel Jr. NFR has to make sure that they enter and are members of Jr.Rodeo,” he said.
“To do that, you can go to www.jrrodeo.org,” explained Bartkowski. “You can click to join, follow the tab at the top that says ‘JR NFR’ and you can be well on your way to earning $10,000.”
Per Bartkowski’s instructions, click here to sign your child up for Jr. Rodeo.
Bartkowski then goes on to explain the goals, format, and added money aspects of the event. Watch the video to get the full scoop.
