Tom Glause, CEO of the Pro Rodeo Cowboy’s Association, gives us an inside look into the Headquarters located in Colorado Springs and what all takes place behind the scenes.
“There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes to put together rodeo, from approving the rodeo, to taking entries to setting it up, to paying it out, there’s a lot of moving parts here.”
The NFR Open is being brought to Colorado Springs and the PRCA hopes this will make a great impact on the town. The beautiful scenery that is Pike’s Peak creates great attraction for tourists and rodeo goers.
California Rodeo Salinas held the NFR Playoffs last year and it will be returning to Puyallup, Washington this September. Tom and the PRCA are excited for Rodeo Salinas to once again be taking place in July and will now be hosting an Xtreme Bulls event as well.
Throughout his time in the rodeo industry, Tom Glause made a meaningful friendship and many memories with his great friend, Bud Munroe.
“Bud Munroe had a huge impact on the progression of Pro Rodeo”, Tom says as he reflects on the accomplishments of his dear friend Bud.
