Over his first three seasons in ProRodeo, tie-down roper Quade Hiatt earned more than $150,000 and consistently ranked among the Top 50, twice finishing inside the Top 35.
At 24, he has punched his ticket to the National Finals in 2024 after a down-to-the-wire battle.
Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo, $2,280
Hiatt took second place at the rodeo in Rosenberg, Texas back in October of 2023. It was his biggest check in a run of winning $1,200 or more at four of his first six rodeos of the 2024 regular season.
La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros, $8,781
Hiatt won more than $4,000 for both his Round 1 run of 8.9 seconds and his fourth place finish in the Average. He was 20.1 seconds on two and one of four cowboys to place in both rounds.
Clark County Fair and Rodeo, $5,154
In Nevada, Hiatt did not place in Round 1, but his third place finish for an 8.5-second run in Round 2 was enough to take him to another fourth place finish in the Average. He finished behind some pretty good company - Marty Yates, Ty Harris and Monty Lewis.
St. Paul Rodeo, $11,235
After notching a few solid finishes at PRCA Playoff Series Rodeos in the spring, Hiatt found himself in the winner’s circle over Cowboy Christmas. After winning Round 1 with an 8.0-second run, an 8.8 was enough in Round 2 to win him the Average by five tenths of a second over Ty Harris.
California Rodeo Salinas, $9,321
Hiatt placed on his first two calves with runs of 10.1 and 9.8 seconds before a 13.5-second run in the Finals left him fourth in the Average.
Of his five California rodeos in 2024, Salinas was by far the most profitable.
New Mexico State Fair and Rodeo, $4,474
Sitting No. 18 to start September, Hiatt got a huge win with his fastest run of the season in Albuquerque. He was 6.9 to win the rodeo by one tenth of a second and afterward, he was up to No. 14.
