R.C. Landingham and Cooper James Two of Biggest Movers in July

Big scores and big payouts have led to a successful month for R.C. Landingham and Cooper James

The bareback riding and bull riding leaderboards have been shifted throughout July, but the biggest shakers have been R.C. Landingham and Cooper James.

Four-time NFR qualifier R.C. Landingham, started 100 Rodeos in 100 Days as the No. 6 man in the World. However, after big wins at the Reno Rodeo, the Sheridan WYO Rodeo, and the Deadwood Days of ’76 Rodeo, he has earned his way up to No. 3.

Over July, Landingham has won over $57,000 which figures out to $1,842 a day. His earnings have put him just over $35,000 behind the No. 1 man, Keenan Hayes.

In the bull riding, Cooper James, the leading Resistol Rookie is shaking things up. Although James did not win first at any of the rodeos he attended in July, he has been consistent in making money, as he collected $45,000 throughout the month.

His earnings now total $109,138 and have boosted him from No. 15 to No. 8 in the World Standings, $84,000 behind the No. 1 man, Josh Frost.
