Wade Sundell stole the show in the saddle bronc riding at RFD-TV’s The American in 2014.

First, he rode Calgary Stampede’s Lynx Mountain for 90 points in the Long Round and then he followed that up by earning 92.5 points in the Shootout.

The cowboy in second place in both rounds was Nebraska’s Cort Scheer, who was 88.25 points in the Long Round and 89 points in the Shootout aboard Frontier Rodeo’s Maple Leaf.

After his ride in the Long Round, Sundell said hearing 90 points announced after your ride is the greatest feeling a bronc rider could ask for. He did it on back-to-back days in 2014 to win $100,000 and be crowned the first saddle bronc riding champion at RFD-TV’s The American.
