Reno Rodeo: Monday Night Daysheet, Performance 4

There’s still full week to go at the Reno Rodeo and some big names are back for Performance 4.

It all begins with the pre-show on The Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel+ at 9:30 PM ET.

BAREBACK RIDING

Nick Pelke and Dean Thompson took over the No. 1 spot in in Round 1 in Reno during last night’s performance. Tonight, they face Big Bend Rodeo’s Minnie and Soldier Woman. Kaycee Feild rode Soldier Woman for 81 points in this arena just last season.

STEER WRESTLING

Tucker Allen’s 9.2 seconds on two still leads the Average. Trevor Nelson will back in the box on his powerhouse bay, Dr. Pepper and have all the horse power he needs to possibly set a new pace.

TEAM ROPING

The winning times in the team roping are pretty even. A 4.8 leads Round 1 while a 4.6 leads Round 2. Watch out for the 2023 NFR Average winners Derrick Begay/Colter Todd, who are coming off a win at Rodeo de Santa Fe over the weekend.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

In just his second ProRodeo of the season, veteran Chet Johnson put his name on the board in Round 1 with an 83 and his Round 2 matchup is Spring Tunes, a veteran bronc of Flying 5 Rodeo. Meanwhile, World No. 1 Damian Brennan has drawn Six Shooter of Beutler & Son Rodeo.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

The pace is picking up, but it is World No. 1 Shad Mayfield’s 7.5 that is holding the Round 2 lead and putting him in front of the Average. Westyn Hughes could change it all.

BREAKAWAY ROPING

Rickie Fanning is eyeing another trip to Vegas and she currently sits inside the Top 5 in the World.

BARREL RACING

Stevi Hillman and her horse, Truck, love the big outdoor set ups and they thrive in Reno. Her trailer is loaded down with horse power and Hillman is looking for more success in Reno.

BULL RIDING

Clayton Sellars is still sitting No. 2 in the World and could make a deep cut in Creek Young’s lead depending on what happens in Reno. His matchup is Maximum Velocity of Big Bend Rodeo, a bull that bucked off Braden Richardson as his only out of the season.
