Reno Rodeo: Sunday Night Daysheet, Performance 3

It is the third performance at Reno Rodeo and in it, you can look for a veteran bareback rider that is returning to Reno after an injury sidelined him in 2023 and a roster of barrel racing that includes cowgirls rapidly climbing the standings.

BAREBACK RIDING

Rosse Rodeo’s Yeti Rambler is making his first bareback out of the season and it is with none other than No. 5 in the World Dean Thompson. Keenan Hayes rode the horse for 86.5 points in Reno last year.

STEER WRESTLING

Tucker Allen’s 9.2 holds on to the lead in the Average but if Nick Guy makes a smooth run tonight, when added to his 4.5 from Round 1 he could take it over.

TEAM ROPING

Pedro Egurrola and Cory Petska along with Korbin Rice and Caleb Hendrix stopped the clock at 5.3 in slack to be in a tide for fourth in Round 1. An 11.1 leads the Average.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

Big Bend Rodeo’s Spring Tour is the horse that Sage Newman tied for the win at Sisters Rodeo on with an 86.5-point ride. Cort Scheer will go toe-to-toe with Spring Tour tonight.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

Cash Enderli and Michael Otero set a new Round 1 lead with a pair of 8.9’s in slack. Shad Mayfield’s 7.5 still leads Round 2 and his 17.6 leads the Average.

BREAKAWAY ROPING

Bradi Good and Kendal Pieston went on to take over No. 1 and 2 in Round 1. Good’s 2.3 gives her a solid shot in the Average as a 5.7 is what leads it.

BARREL RACING

Jodee Miller took the Round 1 lead by two hundredths of a second with Carlee Otero;s 17.65 sitting second. The times in Round 2 are faster with Toria Madsen’s 17.19 leading the go-round and her 34.95 leading the Average.

BULL RIDING

Wacey Schalla leads the Resistol Rookie Race in the All-Around and tonight, he goes up against Code Black, a bull who has remained unridden this season and last.
