Resistol’s general manager Ricky Bohlin talks to Steve Kenyon about how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the company, two weeks after its hat factories were shut down.
After having the best year it’s had in three decades in 2019, the hat company has had to close two factories due to concerns for public health and safety because of the spread of the coronavirus.
Bohlin says the main concern is the welfare of Resistol employees, and he talks about what the company is doing to ensure staff are being taken care of and informed about plans moving forward. He says he remains optimistic that Resistol will come back stronger and better than ever.
While new hats are not being made, you can still purchase a Resistol hat through the company’s website or through one of its many retailers.
