Resistol’s CEO Dustin Noblitt and President Devin Marcum Gear Up for Fourth Resistol Rookie Roundup

The fourth annual Resistol Rookie Roundup is back in Cowtown on April 25 & 26.

Cowtown Coliseum has been home to the Resistol Rookie Roundup since its inception in 2021. Since then, the sole goal has been putting a spotlight on the rookie athletes of the PRCA and WPRA while giving them tools that they will use throughout their careers.

“Four years ago we all sat around a table, discuessed how can we really elevate and make the rookie experience special, right? You go to a lot of other sports, you have the opportunity to go through a bunch of coaching and training. How could we really sit with all these rookies and give them a headstart,” President Devin Marcum said.

Rookie years can be intimitading from entering and travling, to winning and interviews, the Rookie Roundup brings in past Resistol Rookies of the Year alongside World Champions for tips, tricks and insides knowledge on stepping up into the professional level.

“Over time since we were one of the original sponsors for PRCA, it’s just watching these young athletes grow and trying to help them achieve their goals,” CEO Dustin Noblit said.

Before they can be legends, they are rookies and the Resistol Rookie Roundup is two days of leveling up for rodeo’s next generation of Champions.
