Patrick Gottsch’s star took its place in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.

The 2024 Texas Trail of Fame Inductees had a weekend fully dedicated to them in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards and among those honored was our very own Patrick Gottsch.

Gottsch started RFD-TV, Cowboy Channel and Cowgirl Channel in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards. He made sure that rural America, western heritage and family values were well represented in the media, a legacy that his daughters will carry on.

Among those who spoke were his daughters, Gatsby and Raquel, along with long time colleague Justin McKee. He was celebrated by peers like Richard Childress, Taylor Sheridan and Charlie Ergen.

It was a historic and emotional Saturday afternoon for family and friends of Gottsch as they gathered the celebrate his newest accomplishment, a star on the Texas Trail of Fame that sits right outside of the Cowboy Channel headquarters.
