Riding Rosa in Cheyenne for the First Time, Lisa Lockhart wins Day 4

Qualifying for the performance through slack, where they turned in the fastest time, World Champion Lisa Lockhart and Rosa were then 17.37 seconds to win Day 4 yesterday in Cheyenne — in Rosa’s first year to ever run in that arena.

“She’s very fast, she loves to turn,” Lockhart said of Rosa, “so she thrives in situations like this where the arenas are large and the barrels are off the fence. You know, it’s just kind of her thing, and so I just try to capitalize on it when we can.”
