Rocker Steiner is back to ProRodeo competition after a knee injury that occurred in the Short Round of the Houston Rodeo.
Rocker has been out for the past two months with a slight tear in his PCL. This time off helped Rocker to recover while sticking to a strict workout regimen that focused on the injured ligament.
Since taking the time to heal, Rocker has been getting on practice horses and has been entered three times. The cowboy was able to pull a check in Kansas City at the American Royal Rodeo and is currently learning how to adjust to riding with a knee brace.
“The goal is the same thing it’s been the whole time, get to the finals and go after the buckle. I’m just glad I can get back out there and go for it again”, Rocker says.
As he is currently sitting at No. 13 in the World Standings and No. 1 in the Resistol Rookie Standings, Rocker is working his way to his first ever NFR qualification.
