Rodeo Austin Champion Q Taylor Talks Biggest Career Win, Growing as a Bronc Rider and More

Q Taylor joins Western Sports Round-Up after Rodeo Austin win.

Beutler and Son Rodeo’s Hammer Stone was the draw in the Final Round for Q Taylor. It would be a 90-point ride that cinched the win.

“That horse, he really bucks there and kind of does some funny stuff with his head there so you’ve got to be real aggreissve with your feet and handle your rein to make it all workout,” Taylor said.

This is Taylor’s biggest career win so far and he is climbing the World Standings. This win as him currently sitting No. 27 in the World.

“I think that, for me, it took me a couple years to grow as a person and as a bronc rider and I feel like I’m kind of coming into my own as a bronc rider now... I think if I can kind of stay out of my own way and just ride broncs and not worry about everything else, it should all work out,” he said.
