RodeoHouston Bull Riding Champion Tristen Hutchings Has Eyes on a Gold Buckle

Tristen Hutchings cinches RodeHouston win.

Tristen Hutchings had already racked up $5,000 at RodeoHouston when he went into the Semifinals. After adding another $3,000 with a Semifinals win it kept getting better.

It would be a 91.5-point ride on Cervi Championship Rodeo’s Centerfold that changed it all.

"[It took] a lot of grit. He had me bucked off several times. I’d like to be able to go to the front a little bit more and not bend at the hips so much but it was fun. It was a blast. The four-man bulls, all four of them were awesome,” Hutchings said.

After battling an injury after the National Finals Rodeo, Hutchings’ start to the 2025 was slower than he might have liked but a RodeoHouston win has him No. 3 in the World Standings and back in the game like he was never out.
