Rookie Bareback Rider Weston Timberman Landed a Bucket List Win on Sankey Pro Rodeo’s Land Of Fancy

Montana’s Weston Timberman notches another iconic win in his rookie season.

Weston Timberman is now the No. 6 cowboy in the PRCA Bareback Riding World Standings and has unofficially locked in his first National Finals Rodeo qualification after a bucket list rodeo win came his way. A matchup in the Final Round of the Pendleton Round-Up with Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics’ Land of Fancy was all he needed to get to the top while also carrying on a family tradition.

“It means the world. This is one of the most world reknowned rodeos that we come to and we talked about back in the spring, what my favrotie rodeo that I was excited to come to was and this was the one. And we ended up winning it, so so cool,” Timberman said.

An 89-point ride in the Finals paired well with the 84.5 on Outlawbucker’s Night Magic in the Long Go and by just half a point, Timberman claimed the victory at a rodeo he had his eye on all season long.

Cole Reiner was the No. 2 man when the dust settled, picking up a much needed payday while Louisiana bareback riders Kade Sonnier and Waylong Bourgeois split the No. 3 spot.
