Bryce Jensen is the No. 3 bull rider in the Resistol Rookie Race with over $20,000 to his name and he is working his way up the World Standings with every win.

“It’s been going pretty good, just trying to stay healthy and keep my hand shut, stay on them,” Jensen said.

The college athlete covered his San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo bull to be 85 points and get on the leaderboard. It was a bull that after doing his research, Jensen knew was ridable.

With two wins under his belt this season, he also picked up a Go-Round win at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo when he was called back for the Wildcard Round when someone turned out.

“I was glad to get that call and compete to the best of my abilities and do what I could to make it back,” he said.

It was an opportunity that he seized and he continues to do so as he carries on his rookie year.
