Miller’s match up on Saturday night was J Bar J’s Straight Stick. This was a rematch as the duo was 89.5 points at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in February.
It would be a wicked 92-point ride for Miller to top the leaderboard and add $7,000 to his season earnings. The Texas native’s personal best coming into San Angelo was a 91-point ride aboard Pickett Pro Rodeo’s Top Notch at the Heart o’ Texas Fair and Rodeo in 2023.
