Tilden Hooper pulled into Dickies Arena and set Bracket 5 on fire. He racked up over $4,000 to be the No. 1 bareback rider to advance to the Semi-Finals and the Texas native is your Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
Hooper’s first 90-point ride was the No. 1 ride in the Go-Round and it came aboard Smith Pro Rodeo’s Risky Business. By two and a half points, Hooper landed in the Winner’s Circle.
Pickett Pro Rodeo’s Nightflight was the horse next to Hooper’s name in the draw for Round 2. The two would put together Hooper’s second 90-point ride of Bracket 5 and he would end up with second-place money in the Go-Round.
With only two more brackets to go in Fort Worth, the next Go-Round for Hooper is the Semi-Finals. Thanks to back-to-back 9-point rides, he is heating up as your Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
