Trey Benton III has jumped to No. 3 in the World after success came his way at the Xtreme Bull Bash. It was the seven-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier’s highest marked ride of the 2025 season so far and it makes him your Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
Universal Pro Rodeo’s Halo was the draw next to Benton’s name and the eight seconds that came with it would be worth over $10,000 when the judges marked the ride 90 points. While it squeezed to the top of the leaderboard by just one point, a win is a win.
This all came after Benton spent the day at the ball park with his family for his son’s t-ball game. Benton took to social media to express just how fired up he was to win the bull riding after his son cinched the game ball earlier that day.
Benton is now the No. 3 bull rider in the PRCA World Standings with $48,801 to his name. He is your Roughstock Athlete of the Week after pulling out a huge win to add to the Benton’s successful weekend.
