Hayes kicked off his trip in Waco with an 86-point ride on The Cervi Brother’s Lonestar to get the Round 1 win and an 86.5-point ride in Round 2 to get the win on The Cervi Brother’s Bandana Babe. In Round 3, it was a second-place finish for the Colorado cowboy with 82 points on The Cervi Brother’s Grin & Bare It.
Hayes brought home close to $5,000 from the Permit Finals and ran away with the title of Champion Bareback Rider.
