The bubble watch is always one of the most intense times of the season. This year, Rowdy Parrott, Riley Duvall and Tristan Martin were a part of that watch.
Martin will be making his first trip to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo after an emotional win at the Pendleton Roundup. He had been steady climbing the standings over the summer and despite his Grandma passing away and missing her funeral, Martin did what he went to do in Pendleton.
Duvall is heading to his fourth NFR and this year was not his first year on the bubble. In 2014, he came from behind almost just like he did this year. After having success at California Rodeo Salinas, Duvall was ranked No. 13 in the PRCA World Standings.
Parrott is now a 2-time NF qualifier. After battling injuries all year, Parrott had a good end to his summer run picking up all the right checks throughout August and September. He stuck to his fundamentals, practiced, and worked hard to make it to Las Vegas in the No. 12 hole.
The veterans are excited to be back in the Thomas and Mack, it is a quick set up that they are looking forward to. Everyone is chasing No.1 cowboy Jacob Talley, the steer wrestling will be a dog fight this December.
