Ruger Piva and Taylor Santos Squeeze into NFR in Final Weekend

Ruger Piva needed a big weekend to make his first career NFR as he was entering the final weekend on the outside looking in. Piva earned checks at three events, including over $6,000 at the Old Fort Days XTreme Bulls to jump himself to 12th place in the Bull Riding World Standings with season earnings totaling $98,268.

Tie-Down Roper Taylor Santos was in a similar position heading into the final weekend. Santos traveled thousands of miles to secure a spot at the 2021 NFR. Santos enters the NFR in 14th place thanks to a $1,000 check over the final weekend. With that payday, Santos edged out Andrew Burkes by $823.
