Rusty Wright will miss significant time after suffering two broken bones in his right leg on Thursday night at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo.
According to ProRodeo.com, Wright has a broken ankle and a spinal fracture in his tibia. He has not ruled out a return, but he will likely miss the remainder of the season.
In the last seven years, Wright has made five NFRs. This year, he won the All-Florida Championship and the Long Round in Austin and was No. 20 in the PRCA Saddle Bronc Riding World Standings.
