Ryder Wright Conquers Reno Rodeo Aboard Big Bend Rodeo’s Spring Tour in the Finals

Ryder Wright adds the Reno Rodeo this list of accolades.

After breaking his wrist at Reno Rodeo in 2023, Ryder Wright came back with a vengeance. The No. 4 ranked saddle bronc rider in the World cinched his first Reno Rodeo win after an 88-point ride in the Finals.

“It adds a lot, when you know they’re going to go out and do their job and all you’ve got to do is do yours, it does add a lot of pressure,” Wright said.

His final matchup was Spring Tour of Big Bend Rodeo and when that score was added to his Round 1 score of 85.5 and his Round 2 score of 86, Wright finished on top of the Aggregate by 2.5 points.

Along with the coveted Silver Spurs, this added over $13,000 to his season earnings.

Dawson Hay got the Go-Round win in the Finals with an 88.5-point ride on Corey & Lange Rodeo’s Diamond Fever while Wright’s brother, Rusty, rounded out the Top 3 in the Short Round. Rusty also finished second to Ryder in the Average.
