Statler Wright is in the midst of his National Finals Rodeo debut and it comes as no surprise that he cinches a Go-Round win.
A matchup with Five Star Rodeo’s Jessica Rabbit in Round 6 would be worth 87.5 points and with it, Wright would stay on top of the leaderboard.
“It was everything. My dad has always told me attitude is altitude it just keeps proving that if you have a good attitude, the outcome can be whatever you want,” Wright said.
In an arena that has held so much success for his family, the youngest Wright has finally gotten his piece of that success with his family in the building to celebrate.
“It was awesome. I wish I would’ve had my hat on because I would’ve thrown it across the arena,” he said.
Wyatt Casper and Brody Cress were one point behind Wright to ty for second and third in Round 6.
