Seven-Time PRCA Bull Riding World Champion Sage Kimzey Shifts Focus to PBR in 2024

The catalyst behind Kimzey’s decision was spending more time with family and having more time to recover between rides

Seven-time PRCA World Champion bull rider Sage Kimzey has announced his full-time transition to the PBR in 2024.

This shift will offer a more flexible schedule, allowing him to spend additional time with his family while ensuring time to rest and recover between each event.

“Going full-time with the PBR allows me to be home with my family more often. Being home more often allows me to take care of my body and recover better and that is certainly something I am looking forward to,” he said.

Kimzey’s legacy in the PRCA will be remembered for setting and continuously surpassing records while elevating the sport’s standards each year.

If this is the last we have seen of him in ProRodeo, he finishes his career with nine NFR qualifications, three NFR Average titles and more than $3 million earned in addition to his seven Gold Buckles.
