San Antonio Champion Brandon Harrison Has Big Goals for The 2025 Season

Steer wrestler Brandon Harrison has leveled up as he goes for gold.

After going from underdog to wonderdog, Brandon Harrison says his San Antonio win is setting in but only a little bit.

“It’s just, it’s a step in the right direction where I’m headed,” Harrison says.

Coming in under the radar for the second leg of the Texas Swing was no big deal for Harrison has it was a stepping stone on the way to a much bigger goal that he has in mind and that is to win the World.

“I was standing in the tunnel at San Antone and I was kind of giving [Colby Lovell] a run down of my goals and my plans he just kind of stopped me right in the middle of it and he told me, he’s like hey, go ahead and make the big plan,” he said.

In that moment, Harrison’s goal was to qualify for the Calgary Stampede this July but when the conversation was over, the Texas bull dogger took the advice from the World Champion Team Roper and took his goals to the next level.

Harrison’s motivating factor for gunning for gold was none other than his family. He is leading by example as he capitalized in San Antonio and is now practicing and staying on top of his game for Houston and what is to follow.
