Shad Mayfield Takes Puyallup, Extends Lead in Standings

Shad Mayfield has been battling off Ty Harris and Haven Meged in the Tie-Down Roping World Standings, and after a win in Puyallup, he has created some breathing room.

Mayfield’s numbers look great this season, but he says it hasn’t come without its difficulties.

Mayfield was 7.4 seconds in the Finals to get the win and earned over $17,000 on the weekend.

The big win pushed him over $230,000 on the season.
