Shaya Biever Secures Canadian Finals Rodeo Breakaway Roping Championship Title

Shaya Biever swept the competition in Red Deer to claim the Canadian Finals Rodeo Championship and the Year-End Title after turning in an aggregate time of 7.6 seconds on three head.

Biever entered her second CFR No. 3 in Canadian Standings, but three runs of 2.8 seconds or faster was enough to sneak by Aubrey Ross, who entered No. 1, by about $2,000. Her total season earnings was $32,444.

“It’s unreal, honestly,” she said after her triumph.
