Shorty Garrett’s reride in Wednesday’s Quarterfinal of Cheyenne Frontier Days wound up being worth 85.5 points putting him No. 1 in Quarter 4 and in the Semifinals.
“That’s a great horse. I’ve seen him around a lot and I’ve always wanted to get on him and happy it worked,” Garrett said.
Joining the South Dakota bronc rider in the Semifinals from Quarterfinal No. 4 are Stu Wright, Lefty Holman and Isaac Diaz.
All four bronc riders will compete either Friday or Saturday. With the winners moving to Sunday’s Finals. All of the weekend performances begin at 2 PM ET on The Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel+.
