Sissy Winn Talks Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Bracket 1 Success on Ted

Barrel racer Sissy Winn is back at the Winner’s Circle at Dickies Arena.

Texas’ own Sissy Winn was as consistent as ever during the first bracket of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. She found herself finishin second in both Go-Rounds and this time, she is on a horse called Ted.

“Ted, I’ve had him actually the longest out of all the horses I have in my barn. He is the fastest thing I’ve ever been on. He’s so cool and I’m just happy that he’s finally having his moment to shine... But I just absolutley love his style,” Winn said.

The big sorrel that we have seen Winn have so much success on all around the country is Scoop but Ted got the call for Fort Worth.

“Some horses go in there and they really hunt that barrel and then some, they kind of blow up. Thankfully Ted found his first. It just depends, because Fort Worth, I tell people you really can’t make a mistake because there’s only two rounds so you’ve really got to be consistant. So thankfully Ted and I got two second places which brought us back to Semis,” she said.

As Winn looks forward to the 2025 season and having an arsenal of horsepower going down the road, her game plan is to stay on which ever equine partner hits their stride in that current moment.

Until then, Winn and Ted are Semi-Finals bound at the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
