The PRCA has announced its keynote speaker for its Dec. 1 convention. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, an avid supporter of rodeo, will address the crowd at the South Point Hotel and Casino.
During her time as governor, Noem has attended several rodeos throughout South Dakota as well as the 2020 Wrangler NFR at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
“We are honored Governor Noem will keynote our convention,” said Tom Glause, chief executive officer of the PRCA. “She appreciates the work ethic of our cowboys and what they represent. We couldn’t have a better keynote speaker.”
The theme for the 2021 convention is Back in the Saddle Again. It will also feature an address from Glause and a PRCA Member Tradeshow as well.
Noem was elected Governor of South Dakota in 2018 after serving in the U.S. House of Representatives for eight years. She is a lifelong rancher and the state’s first female governor.
