St. Paul Rodeo: Saturday Night Daysheet, Performance 6

We are coming down to the wire in St. Paul as we are one performance away from champions.

BAREBACK RIDING

Rookie All-Around roughstock cowboy Wacey Schalla’s match-up in the bareback riding is the standout Korkow Rodeo horse, Onion Ring. Fellow rookie Kashton Ford covered Onion Ring for 84.5 points earlier this season and that exact score would get Schalla into the money in St. Paul.

STEER WRESTLING

A 3.5 is now the time to beat to take over the Go-Round lead with Dalton Massey’s 7.1 still leading the Average.

TEAM ROPING

A run in the high fours will get any of these teams into the Go-Round money and Cole Thomas and Dylin Ahlstrom have been picking up steam. A 10.1 on two would put them in the lead in the Average.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

Korkow Rodeo’s Cherry Forever is a bronc with only one career out according to Stock Stats and that ended with a 74-point score. The No. 10 bronc rider in the World, Ryder Sanford, looks to best that during the final performance in St. Paul as an 84 would get him into the money.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

Marty Yates is set to be the last cowboy out in the tie-down roping and he is chasing a time of 17.3 in the Average if he wants the lead. He has won the St. Paul Rodeo before in 2014 and is looking for a second title ten years later.

BREAKAWAY ROPING

Jill Tanner and Hali Williams are two of the quickest cowgirls in the game. Both have top of the line horsepower but the competition in St. Paul got hot quick as a 2.2 is now the time to beat to take over the No.1 spot.

BARREL RACING

Jordon Briggs and Rollo are back in action and they just might be the team to beat Emily Beisel and Chewy’s wicked fast 17.20-second run. There are still three tenths of a second between No. 1 and No. 2 leaving plenty of room for a leaderboard change in the barrels.

BULL RIDING

Four Star Rodeo’s The Natural only have one qualified ride in his career courtesy of Trey Benton in 2023 for 83 points in Red Bluff. Tonight, your No. 1 bull rider in the World, Creek Young, will nod his head looking to make it two.
