Stan Branco was first out in the Final Round of Rodeo Austin and made his last run count as he turned in a 3.2-second run to not only take home the Championship, but also tie the arena record.
“It’s amazing I didn’t think I was going to get back with a 4.2 in the last round and I figured I’d try to put as much pressure on him as I could and everything worked out,” Branco said.
Branco was the fastest when he needed to be in the steer wrestling as four cowboys were 4 flat or better in the Short Round.
With his success at Rodeo Austin Branco won $10,270, nearly doubling his PRCA earnings to now sit No. 13 in the World Standings.
