Steer Wrestler Ty Bauerle Comes Out Victorious in Resistol Rookie Race

Ty Bauerle claimed the Permit Finals last year and the Resistol Rookie of the Year title in 2024.

In what turned out to be a battle, Ty Bauerle made sure that his rookie season ended on a high as he is unofficially your Resistol Rookie of the Year in the steer wrestling.

Part of his success is because of horsepower that stayed locked and loaded for Bauerle.

“Horsepower means a lot. I rode mine for most of the year, Spanish Fork I got on Ty Erickson’s horse, Crush, I think he won Horse of the Year this year. The week after that for Herber City, Dodge City and all that, I rode Dylan Schroeder’s mare,” Bauerle said.

Bauerle’s travel partners were Landris White and Dylan Schroeder who also played an integral part in his season. White would double has a hazer when needed.

With the close of the regular season, Bauerle said the biggest take away to keep on when you are not pulling checks because you never know when it could all turn around.
