Steer Wrestler Will Lummus Hustles to Stay in the Game at San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo

Will Lummus’ efforts pay off as he advances to San Antonio’s Semi-Finals.

Will Lummus is a veteran of the steer wrestling game and winning is something that we have come to expect from the Mississippi cowboy. That makes it no surprise that he is moving on to the Semi-Finals at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo after a Round 3 win came his way.

“Yeah, I needed to win third or better for sure to try to make it back here... I’ve got rodeos to go to with my wife in Florida, yeah, we’ve got some figuring out to do to make it all work,” Lummus said.

The 4.1-second run cinched the Round 3 win and the other payday that came his way in Bracket 4 was thanks to a 5.0-second run in Round 1 and he is the No. 2 steer wrestler making it back.

Joining Lummus in the Semi-Finals are fellow veterans Tyler Waguespack and Kyle Irwin, along with young gun Cash Robb.
