Established as the Houston Fat Stock Show in 1932, this annual affair has grown to be known as the World’s Largest Livestock Show and Rodeo.

With more than 34,000 livestock and horse show entries recorded, the Houston Livestock Show hosts exhibitors of all ages from across Texas, as well as several international competitors, trying for a chance to become a Houston champion.

RodeoHouston is comprised of two different competitions, the Super Series and the Super Shootout: North America’s Champions presented by Crown Royal. Both competitions total a $2.17 million payout, with more than 325 contestants and
an average of 1.37 million fans.

Being held through March 22, HSLR is a month-long celebration that includes much more than just livestock shows and rodeo. It showcases a parade, carnival, ranching and wildlife expo, trail rides, barbecue and food competitions, and shopping galore. Not to mention some of the biggest names in entertainment will be on hand to perform live at NRG Stadium once the dust settles in the arena — everyone form Willie Nelson, Midland, John Pardi and Keith Urban to Chance the Rapper, Lizzo, Gwen Stefani, and NCT 127 will take centerstage this year.
