Today, The Cowboy Channel has announced that with its commitment to continue to entertain viewers and rodeo fans, the network will begin airing a new television series, “40 Days of Texas Rodeo” starting immediately. The Cowboy Channel will be re-airing every day of the biggest 2020 ProRodeo Texas Winter Rodeos which include: Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo.

“The rodeo season always begins with a bang! Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston and San Angelo - if a cowboy or cowgirl has a good winter run, it really sets the stage for an easy road to the National Finals Rodeo,” said Jeff Medders, President and General Manager of The Cowboy Channel. “It was so much fun to see those rodeos start the year here on The Cowboy Channel, and what could be better than an encore performance?”

“This is another great example of The Cowboy Channel being the leader in western sports television coverage,” PRCA CEO George Taylor said. “Our fans and members know the tradition of Texas rodeos and will enjoy watching these special moments.”

Full schedule through April 19 is listed below. Complete schedule to be released in the coming week:

Comments from the Texas Winter Rodeos:

San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo: “We would like to thank The Cowboy Channel for re-airing our rodeo during these challenging times,” said Cody Davenport, Executive Director and CEO of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. “It is our hope that watching our action-packed rodeo will spread a sense of positivity for the future.”
