Hailey Kinsel won her first World Championship in 2018, but the groundwork was actually laid in 2017.

That year, her and horse Sister, who’s registered name is DM Sissy Hayday, smashed the arena record at the Thomas & Mack Center with a time of 13.11 seconds. Kinsel finished second in the world behind Nellie Miller.

If you blinked, you might have missed her and her Palomino partner in 2018. Kinsel won close to $160,000 in Las Vegas and banked more than $350,000 for the season. Sister did her part as well by being named the Horse of the Year.

In 2019, Kinsel defended her Gold Buckle.
