NFR’s Most Memorable Moments: Joe Beaver’s First Gold Buckle

The Thomas & Mack Center was given the nickname “The House that Joe Built” after winning his first of eight Gold Buckles at the famous arena. Between 1985 and 2000, Beaver won five tie-down World Titles and three all-around crowns.

Beaver qualified for 22 NFR’s in Vegas including 18 in tie-down roping. He is one of just six rookies to win the World.
