Will Lowe gives an update after getting kicked in head by Killer Bee at Cinch Chute Out

Will Lowe was part of a scary wreck at the San Angelo Cinch Chute Out on Saturday night.

At the end of his 84.5-point ride on Killer Bee, the three-time World Champion lost his riggin’ and was sent flying off the back of the horse. On the way down, he was kicked in the face by one Killer Bee’s hoofs.

“My right foot set up on that horse’s neck and never got ahold of anything and so he pulled me down into my hand,” Lowe said. “So once he put me that far down into my hand, it just loosens everything up and when I tried to bail back up underneath that riggin’ and spur again, it didn’t have anything holding it in there and that horse is so strong, you can’t hold onto it and just blew me out the back door.”

Lowe was out on the dirt for a few seconds but said he was awake by the time members of the Justin Sports Medicine were by his side attending to him. Lowe walked out of the arena on his own power and was back behind the bucking chutes an hour later.
